Basketball NSW Landmark Streaming Agreement
Multi-year agreement with Basketball NSW for automated broadcast graphics across all state competitions.
Basketball New South Wales partnered with LIGR Systems to livestream Spalding Waratah League Championship Division games, sponsored by Carney Sports Marketing.
LIGR Systems provides a league-centric broadcast solution that uses live and historical sports data to automate commercially driven graphical overlays for live stream broadcasts. This technology enables amateur sports organisations to deliver professional content while generating revenue through automated graphics and brand integration.
Previously, Basketball NSW only streamed finals and grand final matches. This agreement expanded coverage to regular season games, beginning with two matches per round. Basketball NSW CEO Maria Nordstrom highlighted that live-streaming is a powerful tool to showcase talented athletes and create an experience that's bigger than the product.
