The Vision
Football Australia — governing body of Australia's most popular and fastest-growing sport — needed a way to centralise live production across thousands of games and multiple competition tiers, spanning nine state and territory member federations.
The goal was to streamline operations, unlock sustainable revenue streams, and enhance fan engagement across the entire football pyramid — all without sacrificing broadcast quality at any level.
The Model
Following a rigorous Request for Proposal process, Football Australia appointed LIGR and parent company Crionet to deliver what has been described as a paradigm shift in how the game is produced, distributed and commercialised.
The "gatekeeper" model is the first of its kind globally in scale and scope, providing technical broadcast management, live monitoring, streaming, graphics automation, and integration of AI camera workflows at selected venues.
