LIGR Raises $2.1M Seed Round
Seed funding to accelerate platform development and expand broadcast graphics capabilities across sports.

Australian sports technology startup LIGR has secured $2.1 million in Pre-Series A funding from international and domestic investors. The company develops a self-serve, cloud-based broadcast platform that democratises professional sports broadcasting.
LIGR's platform enables sports organisations to create TV-quality graphics, scoreboards, and sponsorship tools without requiring specialised technical expertise. Rather than permanent static logos, the system displays digital ads strategically during natural game breaks.
The funding round was led by early-stage VC firm Investible and includes investment from NBA player Andrew Bogut and sports technology firm MindSpring Capital. Startmate, Australia s premier startup accelerator, also participated.
Cofounders Luke McCoy and Adam Burke envision their platform as a combination of Canva and Hubspot for live sports broadcasting. The system currently supports 13 sports with plans to expand.
LIGR is a cloud-native broadcast graphics overlay platform for live sports. The platform enables automated, zero-operator production across football, cricket, basketball, tennis, rugby league and more — powering 4,000+ matches annually for organisations including Football Australia, DAZN, Tennis Australia, the AFL, and the QRL.
