Hudl Focus is a powerful camera system for capturing live sports, but raw camera feeds don’t tell the complete broadcast story. Sponsors need visibility. Viewers need context. And your production team needs to scale without hiring more staff.
That’s where LIGR Live comes in. By connecting your Hudl Focus camera to OBS Studio and layering in LIGR’s broadcast graphics, you can stream professional-quality content with animated scoreboards, sponsor overlays, and automated highlights — all without dedicated production staff.
This guide walks you through the complete workflow.
What You’ll Need
- A Hudl Focus Indoor or Outdoor camera
- The Focus app (iOS or Android)
- A LIGR Live account
- OBS Studio (free) or vMix
- Your output stream destination (YouTube, Facebook, etc.)
How Hudl Focus + LIGR Works
Hudl Focus cameras output video as an RTMP stream. OBS Studio (or vMix) captures that feed and combines it with LIGR’s graphics overlay. The combined output — camera + graphics — is then streamed to your destination platform.
